A visit to the Chesterfield & District Model Engineering Society open weekend is always enjoyable. With both ground-level and raised track there are always plenty of trains running. An added bonus was to see trains on the new extension to the ground-level tracks. It must be quite a challenge for the drivers as the circuit has some very steep gradients.
